Djubo has 100 independent hotels using its services today. It says this funding will give it the leverage to reach 2,000 hotels within a year.
Djubo offers a mobile-app-based booking platform, with responsive-design templates and a booking engine and payment gateway. It also gives hotels a cloud-based online channel management tool that synchs up with multiple online travel agencies (OTAs), such as Booking.com and HRS.
The company was co-founded by Tarun Gulati, with a private equity background, and Sankalp Goel, who has an IT and development background. The goal is to provide an “end-to-end solution for hotel sales management.
Ashish Kashyap, CEO of Ibibo Group, will join Djubo as a board member.
