Ctrip offers its corporate client micro-confrerence venues with hotel rooms
Capitalizing on this trend, Ctrip has recently launched the “Hotel + Venue” channel offering standard hotel room +meeting hall package products to cater to meet small-scale and micro conference venues needs of millions of its corporate users.
The majority of businesses offering online conference services these days merely display their products online and arrange services offline without any online booking function.
By contrast, Ctrip is leveraging a partnership with domestic conference vertical transactions platform HotelGG to develop a dynamic real-time room inventory system that enables partner hotels to adjust pricing and booking periods for room type or venue based on profit management principles, as well as quick searches for “Hotel+Venue” package product prices and make direct online booking.
Apart from offering online booking, Ctrip's “Hotel+Venue” channel also offersconference venue service officers to follow up the entire transaction for each order.
Unlike regular event organizers, micro conference organizers tend to demand faster and more complete product information, including venue details and pricing within on a limited budget.
