Skypicker, a flight metasearch startup, has received a $1 million (950,000 Euro) venture investment from Ondrej Tomek, the Czech digital entrepreneur, who takes a 10% stake in the company.
The funding comes after the news in January of a $500,000 investment by Touzimsky Airlines.
The latest round values the Czech startup at 250 million Czech koruna (9.18M Euro, or $9.73M). The Brno-based company, which has 30 employees, said:
“The investment will be used for the acceleration of the development efforts, particularly for the integration of “legacy” airlines database with our low-cost flight inventory.”
