Trip38 is the latest Bangalore-based travel tech start-up to pick up funding, with the travel management app confirming INR 6 crores (c$1 million) in Series A cash.

The funding comes from InterGlobe Technology Quotient (ITQ), part of InterGlobe Enterprises and Singapore’s Lantern Capital.

Trip38 is a travel management app, currently available in Android and IoS. It offers itinerary management, status alerts, airport services and location-based destination guides. It has been designed so that once downloaded it can work offline.

The funds will be used on product development and marketing. Trip38 has global aspirations – it has been downloaded 25,000 times from 170 countries, with between 40%-50% of users from India.
