Ctrip expands coverage of new O2O travel shopping service
Ctrip launched a travel shopping platform “Youyigou” to facilitate shopping in a wider range of travel destinations including domestic destinations.
ChinaTravelNews - Ctrip launched in early February a travel shopping platform “Youyigou” accessed via the main site that features a new order-online-pickup-offline model to facilitate shopping in a wider range of travel destinations including domestic destinations.
Ctrip’s Youyigou is an extension in concept to the global shopping platform integrating destination travel and shopping as part of Ctrip’s optimization as a one-stop-shop travel service platform. Youyigou’s service covers 20 global points including Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and is now expanding its domestic coverage to popular destinations like Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou.
Japan Post has recently formed a partnership with Ctrip to deliver the souvenirs purchased by Chinese visitors to the hotels they are staying in.
Youyigou follows users’ preferences and recommendations to drive its instant and intuitive product index and displays great-value and unique local souvenirs.
