TripAdvisor increases restaurant focus with acquisition of IENS and SeatMe

TripAdvisor has bought Netherlands-based sister restaurant and booking services IENS and SeatMe.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed (though Dutch media are reporting a figure in the region of Euro 10 million)

The team at TripAdvisor’s previous foray into the restaurant, La Fourchette, will lead the integration.

French brand La Fourchette was acquired by TripAdvisor in May 2014.
