TravelDaily – Vogue Hotel Group officially acquired Liti Hotels, the first motel group in China with 10 years of operations, after the chairmen of the two groups signed the “Agreement of Transfer for the Nanjing Liti Hotel” on November 18, 2014.
The 30-room Nanjing Liti Hotel (formerly Hawaii Motel) was launched in January 2005 and was the first authentic Taiwan-style motel (with one garage per room) in China offering luxury, privacy and a romantic setting.
Vogue Hotels partnered with Dongxin Capital for the RMB60 million acquisition that gives it hotels on both the north and south sides of the Yangtze River, firmly securing the group’s position in Nanjing and making it the top motel group in China.
Vogue Hotel Group is gearing up for three public listings and developing a consolidated foundation in preparation for the celebration of its 10th anniversary in 2018. Nanjing will be the center of its urban distribution points spanning the Nanjing-Shanghai line, Shanghai-Hangzhou line, and Nanjing- Hangzhou line. It will stay competitive by acquisitions, restructuring, constructing 10 new hotels and completing 30 projects in the coming three years.(Translation by David)
