The China Tourism Academy published the “2014 report on the Chinese outbound traveler satisfaction survey” with a satisfaction index of 76.98 points indicating “General Satisfaction”. Italy ranked the highest of the 24 countries in the survey.
Complaints and claims from travelers are on the rise
The survey shows that complaints and claims by Chinese travelers are continually rising while repeat visits and the rate of recommendations is dropping. 12.98% of Chinese travelers filed claims and made complaints mainly about the quality of products and services, the availability of Chinese language information, and safety issues.
15 countries in survey score 75 points on “Scale of Satisfaction”
In the survey of 24 countries 15 countries reached the “General Satisfaction” level of 75 points. The country ranking from highest to lowest score according to the level of satisfaction among Chinese travelers are as follows:
