Orange Hotel CEO Hai Wu says that Orange Hotel is launching its City Resort Brand with the sales pitch, “A Resort Town in the City Center”.

Orange Hotel CEO Hai Wu says that Orange Hotel is launching its City Resort Brand with the sales pitch, “A Resort Town in the City Center”.

The first resort of this brand will be near Beijing’s Houhai Lake Scenic Area and is planned to open in the middle of next year. The hotel will have over sixty rooms and the price at this stage is set at over 1,000 RMB per night. Well-trained foreign staff will be employed to offer bilingual services. Orange Hotel will partner with international food service companies for joint investment and management of the on-premises restaurants, bars, and cafes. Hai Wu says, “Medium grade Orange Hotels will gradually be upgraded to premium grade hotels. The number of Orange Hotel’s premium brand, Orange Crystal Hotels, will continue its steady expansion. Orange Crystal Hotels will be the main hotels in the preliminary structure of our Luxury City Resorts and these hotels will be supplemented by additional Orange Premium Grade Hotels.  

According to Huanyan Zhao, CIO of Huamei Hotel Solutions, Orange Hotel is using their Luxury City Resorts to position themselves as an emerging resort brand. As the supply of hotels in suburban scenic areas already exceeds customer demand they have nothing to lose from trying this project. Houhai Lake Scenic Area has the beautiful natural resources and is well situated. The price of the rooms is also well balanced with the number of rooms which will guarantee a consistent rate of occupancy.(Translation by David)
