The number of inbound tourists to Japan has hit a record high of 7.53 million as of July, thanks to the rising number of international flights at Haneda Airport and charter flights in Asia, according to Kyodo News.
The organization is expecting the number of Chinese tourists' trips to reach 12 million this year, up from 10 million last year, despite Japanese officials' visits to the controversial Yasukuni Shrine.
