Tours and activities specialist Excursiopedia says the acquisition is in line with a strategy to become the leader in local activities while offers and content from the former will also now be featured on Travelatus.
The team at event travel specialist Travelatus moves to Excursiopedia including Valentin Dombrovsky who becomes vice president of innovation while Vitaly Korobkin and Denis Volko take up development team leader roles.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but sources estimate it to be a six figure sum.
