DerbySoft’s VP of Connectivity, Keith Cotton awarded 2012 HEDNA Award of Excellence
On December 5 at its Winter Conference in Las Vegas, HEDNA (the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association) presented the 2012 HEDNA Award of Excellence to Keith Cotton, Vice President of Connectivity at DerbySoft.
On December 5 at its Winter Conference in Las Vegas, HEDNA (the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association) presented the 2012 HEDNA Award of Excellence to Keith Cotton, Vice President of Connectivity at DerbySoft. The award honors an individual who has made remarkable contributions toward the advancement of hotel electronic distribution and who has provided unwavering support of HEDNA. Cotton was a founding member of HEDNA, has served on its Board of Directors multiple times, and continues to regularly serve the organization and the industry by teaching HEDNA University sessions, contributing to HEDNA Forums, and participating in conference panels and workshops. In presenting the award, Melanie Owens, President of HEDNA, said, “Keith’s involvement in our industry over the decades embodies excellence in every regard.”

Keith is a travel industry veteran and pioneer with more than 25 years of experience originating with his work at Holiday Inn Worldwide during the foundation of today’s electronic distribution environment. After 13 years at Holiday Inn, Keith joined THISCO and spent 7 years helping it evolve into the company known today as Pegasus Solutions. More recently and prior to joining DerbySoft, Keith was VP of Business Development for Hotel Booking Solutions (HBSi). In 1991, Keith helped launch the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association (HEDNA) and is recently completed his 4th non-consecutive term as a Board Member and Officer.
