The worldwide tenth largest hotel chain Hyatt Hotel International plans 155 new top hotels with a total of 40,000 rooms.
The recently opened largest hotel project is the Hyatt Regency in Dallas/Texas with 1,120 rooms. According to TOPHOTELPROJECTS, the worldwide leading provider of global b2b hotel data, Hyatt has also plans for two new luxury hotels in Germany: within the next two years a Grand Hyatt with 405 rooms is due to open in Frankfurt’s new city development area, the so called “Europaviertel.
Furthermore a new boutique luxury hotel will soon be inaugurated in the festival city Baden-Baden. The opening is expected for 2014: Hyatt will be operate this five star hotel (129 rooms) in the historic "Neuen Schloss" (English: new castle) in Baden-Baden. The Kuwaiti owner family Al-Hassawi has signed a management contract for the next 30 years with the premium US based hotel chain. The Kuwaiti hotel and real estate group Al-Hassawi transformed the "Neue Schloss" since mid-2010 into a luxury hotel. Furthermore an extension of the building is planned in the castle's garden with 15 to 18 apartments. The total investment volume amounts to a total of 90 million Euro.
