Hotwire has leapfrogged over Orbitz to become the third most popular online travel agency in the US behind sister-brand Expedia and Priceline.
Market leader Expedia has over a 14% share of the web traffic in the agency category (an increase of almost 0.75% on the previous month).
Priceline and Hotwire gained similar jumps, but Orbitz shed 0.80% over the same period to see it lose third place.
