The company says, Booking.com Tonight is the first global last-minute hotel booking app offering same-night hotel rooms at special savings up to 50% over regular rates, plus the world's widest variety of accommodations, bookable all the time at the guaranteed lowest price.

Booking.com Tonight is the latest in Booking.com's family of hotel booking apps. In 2011, Booking.com's customers completed more than $1 billion in transactions on mobile devices. Booking.com decided to create the last-minute app after finding that 40% of its mobile hotel bookings for Los Angeles, New York, London, Hong Kong, Dubai and other international cities are for same-day check-in.
