Indian online travel agency Yatra has narrowed the gap on its rival MakeMyTrip and extended its lead over third placed Cleartrip to 5% of the market.
Yatra now has a 22% share of the market, behind MMT’s 29%, with the leading trio securing a massive 68% of the category.
The two US agency giants trying to make way in the India OTA market, Travelocity and Expedia, have just 2% each.
