In-flight entertainment may soon be history

Tuesday, July 28, 2009: Airlines could be ditching their in-flight entertainment (IFE) in the future as mobile entertainment gadgets become more widely used and catered to on planes.

Carriers including Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific are some of the many airlines that are already providing USB ports and power sockets on their flights for passengers in all classes.
