March 12, 2009: Travel agents are starting to see more bookings closer to travel dates, while at the same time finding their clients´ budget amounts per person are on the decline, according to the new Tripology Trend Report.
The report found that the number of days until departure, which Tripology defines as the amount of time between quote request and beginning of trip, has decreased steadily from August through December 2008. However, in an unexpected reversal, the number of days until departure increased significantly in the early part of January.
