Tuesday, 24 February 2009：The city of Shanghai is expected to welcome 126 luxury cruises to its shores this year, up by 12 percent year-on-year.
Next year will see the number of international cruise passengers arriving in China´s coastal ports increase to 600,000, according to the 2008-2009 Development Report of China´s Cruise Industry.
The development of cruising is predicted to become a vital component in China´s economic growth.
