Daily news, 10 Feb 2009, SINGAPORE – Taiwan-based carrier, China Airlines (CAL), has renewed its content distribution agreement with Travelport GDS.
As part of the agreement, CAL will implement automated market fares on the Galileo system in Taiwan, allowing agents to access the most up-to-date fares on the carrier. The new agreement will also extend functionalities currently available on the Galileo GDS – such as Interactive Seat Assignment, View PNR and Complete Booking Record – to Worldspan connected agents worldwide.
Additionally, CAL will continue its subscription to Travelport’s Business Intelligence division for its Marketing Information Data Tapes (MIDT) which provides timely insight into the booking performance of Travelport GDS connected travel agencies.
