Hilton set to tone up this year
Monday, 5th January 2009: The Hilton Family of Hotels announced today that Fitness By Precor facilities have been installed in more than 500 Hilton Family hotels.
The specially designed fitness facilities, launched in late 2006 as a major co-branding initiative, feature Precor strength, cardio and entertainment equipment, complemented by core training, balance equipment and stretch accessories.
Implemented at Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton and selected Hampton Inn and The Waldorf=Astoria Collection properties in North America, the initiative provides guests with a consistent, club-quality fitness experience, and the ability to customize their workouts.
Hilton noted that guest satisfaction at hotels outfitted with the facilities has increased significantly, by approximately 45 percent.

This validates research done prior to launching the initiative, which was that a great fitness experience can be a key component of a complete hotel experience.”
