Nowfly.co.uk has been set up to deliver “equal or better fares” than its rivals for flights, hotels and car rental.

The business is headed by Dan Hart, formerly with thetrainline.com, lastminute.com and Virgin Atlantic.

The site features more than 340 airlines with routes, fares and availability.

It has geo-coded results for hotel chains and major consolidators, using the Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API) to visually place hotel results.

The company claims to be the first in the UK to employ the full suite of the API developed by technology company TRAVELfusion.

The next phase is the introduction of further travel tips as well as community-based content to help users make better informed decisions.

Hart said: “I believe that the combination of good content from TRAVELfusion, matched with a great user-face, is a compelling proposition for travellers booking trips online.”
