TravClass.com provides the latest deals direct from a range of travel companies and services
Wednesday, 25 June 2008: Asia Pacific’s largest travel e-classifieds was launched last Thursday on www.TravClass.com which offers local travellers a full listing of travel services including accommodation, airfares, car rentals, cruises and rail journeys.
TravClass.com has made pretty big promises to change the way online travel search is done by delivering the right information and flexibility for travellers to choose the exact travel option they want in a matter of minutes.
It hopes to deliver on these promises by streamlining the process of choosing different services by hosting promotions from multiple vendors in a single site.
This will enable users to see in a snapshot the best deals on offer without the hassle involved in searching several sites.
"The days of cookie cutter tours are long over for intrepid Singapore travellers who are now empowered to make the best travel arrangements with the help of the Internet. However, this source of information presented a new set of problems – you now have to trawl numerous websites to find a deal most suitable for your needs, " said Lee Cheun Kiat, country manager for Singapore, TravClass.com.
TravClass.com derives its entire revenue from advertisers which means they do not charge a commission for transactions performed on its site for consumers.
"TravClass.com is styled after a mega mall – a place where shoppers can browse for the best deals and deal directly with the vendors offering it. We merely facilitate this transaction with no mark-up on the price listed on the site," added Lee.
It has already earned the approval of the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) for being an effective and cost efficient media solution for the future.
"TravClass.com gives booking tour packages a new twist. With the ease of click and go, this online travel portal will pack the vibrancy of the travel industry into one. NATAS is pleased to endorse TravClass.com as an effective alternative to print media," said Robert Khoo, chief executive officer, NATAS.
A number of TravClass.com advertisers are already onboard these include carriers KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Garuda Indonesia, travel agents ASA Holidays, Contiki Holidays, PriceBreaker and STA Travel, online reservation portals Priceline.com, and travel search engine Mobissimo.
