Sabre Travel Network´s TripTailor Vacations has gained momentum with agents in 2007, with a 65% growth in total number of trips in October and November 2007 over the same months in 2006. (12/7/2007)
TripTailor Vacations is a travel wholesaler that provides travel agencies the opportunity to package personalised vacations for their clients.
Sabre attributed the growth to providing agents an easy way to create packages "on the fly," adding even more destinations and suppliers participating in the programme.
Within the past year 4,200 Sabre and non-Sabre agents have taken advantage of TripTailor Vacations breadth of travel options, its pricing and dynamic-packaging capabilities.
To date, agents selling TripTailor Vacations have sent more than 40,000 customers on individualized packaged vacations, and they´ve earned more than $2 million in commissions, service fees and bonus commissions. Agents can book fully customised vacations including flights to more than 1,500 destinations months in advance, or just prior to departure for long or short, domestic or international. Agents access TripTailor Vacations directly through TripTailor.com or through the MySabre agent booking portal.
