AA.com to enable customers to change their reservations online
American Airlines has introduced a feature on its website that allows many customers to change their reservations online at anytime, day or night. (9/27/2007)
The new feature is available for trips that have not yet begun, up to three hours prior to the originally scheduled flight departure, for customers who are traveling with an e-ticket purchased through American Airlines Reservations, ticket offices or at AA.com; and are traveling wholly on American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection flights within the United States, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands or Canada.
On new functionality at AA.com, Bella Goren, American´s Senior Vice President -- Customer Relationship Marketing and Reservations said, "Our customers value choices in how they contact and do business with American Airlines. We appreciate the relationship they have with us, and we are focused on providing them with options they desire. Some of our customers prefer to contact a reservations agent when changing their travel, while others like to make changes online."
To use the new feature simply go to AA.com, click on the `View/Change Reservations´ tab from the home page and enter record locator.
