SAO PAULO, Brazil, June 13-- One of Latin America's leading hotel distribution and reservations management companies, CMNet, has signed a long-term distribution agreement with global travel technology provider Worldspan, L.P.
CMNet offers substantial new content to Worldspan´s hotel database, representing all global hotel chain properties located in Brazil and Argentina, the properties of national chains in Brazil and Argentina, plus a significant number of independent hotels offering reach to destinations in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. An interface between CMNet´s central reservations platform and the Worldspan GDS will allow Worldspan subscribers worldwide to shop and book CMNet inventory using the latest technologies, and receive instant confirmations from hotels. "We are delighted to partner with CMNet in expanding our database with hundreds of valuable Latin American properties," said Mike Parks, Worldspan senior vice president - Global Operations and Agency Marketing. "Our subscribers, along with CMNet´s hotel customers and travelers who choose CMNet properties, will all benefit from the most efficient hotel distribution solutions in the industry."
