Ryanair has called on E-bookers "to remove its phoney `Best Price Promise', which claims to guarantee the lowest prices for `flights worldwide' but sneakily excludes Ryanair and the vast majority of bookings made directly through airline websites," according to the airline. (5/15/2007)

Ryanair has called on E-bookers "to remove its phoney `Best Price Promise´, which claims to guarantee the lowest prices for `flights worldwide´ but sneakily excludes Ryanair and the vast majority of bookings made directly through airline websites," according to the airline. (5/15/2007)

The airline stated: "Only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares and unlike E-bookers´ bogus offer, passengers can compare with all other airlines. Find cheaper and Ryanair will pay double the difference between the fare paid to Ryanair and the competitor´s fare. No one beats Ryanair´s fares - guaranteed."

Ryanair´s Head of Communications, Peter Sherrard said: "Only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares in Europe. E-bookers´ `best price - flights´ claim is misleading to consumers and should be removed at once."

"Ryanair has written to the Office of Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority to demand that E-Bookers stop this misleading promotion. If passengers want the lowest fares guaranteed, there is only one place to find them and that is on
www.ryanair.com."

"Ryanair is offering 10 million seats from Ł10 including taxes until midnight Thursday and we urge passengers to book today as these lowest fares guaranteed will not last long."
