Sydney travel booking system provider company Booking Boss was sold in mid-2017 to Singapore travel technology company Helix Leisure.

It’s just emerged that Sydney travel technology company Booking Boss was sold in mid-2017 to Helix Leisure, a company associated with early investor and ex-Wotif CEO Scott Blume, now Managing Director of Timezone Group and based in Singapore.

Blume was among several investors who pumped $2m into Booking Boss in June, 2015. He joined Timezone in October, 2016.

Booking Boss operates a subscription based business model and offers booking and ticketing software for the tours, activities and attraction industry.

Meanwhile, Quadrant Private Equity bought 50% of the Timezone Group late last year.

The funds will be used to accelerate expansion of the ‘arcade entertainment’ business, which has more than 200 outlets across Australasia and Asia.
