The three participating hotel chains include ANA Hotels International, Langham Hotels International and Sol Melia Hotels.

Participants in the Galileo BAR programme represent nearly 50 percent of Galileo’s hotel booking traffic worldwide.

According to the company, in addition to the ANA, Langham and Sol Melia Hotels, the programme has seen encouraging take-up in the Asia Pacific with almost all the major hotel chains participating, including Mandarin Oriental Hotels Group; Marco Polo Hotels; Meritus Hotels & Resorts; Millennium & Copthorne; Oberoi Hotels & Resorts; Raffles Hotels & Resorts; and Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts.

Through Galileo’s exclusive BAR programme, travel agents have access to major hotel chains and their best available published, unrestricted rates either online or over the phone via the hotel chain’s reservation line.
