Sabre revenue rises 6.6% to $900.7 million in Q2 2017

Sabre reiterated its full-year 2017 guidance in the second-quarter report of 2017. Revenue rose 6.6% to USD 900.7 million in the quarter.

Sabre announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2017.

Financial Summary

* Second quarter revenue increased 6.6%.

* Airline and Hospitality Solutions revenue grew 7.8%.

* Travel Network revenue rose 6.3%, with bookings growth of 2.4%.

* Net loss attributable to common stockholders declined 109.0% to USD 6.5 million.

* Adjusted EBITDA decreased 3.7% to USD 261.4 million.

Sabre Airline and Hospitality Solutions

Second quarter Airline and Hospitality Solutions revenue increased 7.8% to USD 271.8 million compared to USD 252.2 million for the same period in 2016.

Second quarter Airline and Hospitality Solutions operating income increased 11.7% to USD 61.9 million from USD 55.4 million in the prior-year period.

Second quarter Airline and Hospitality Solutions Adjusted EBITDA increased 10.6% to USD 101.7 million from USD 91.9 million in the prior-year period.

Sabre Travel Network

Second quarter Travel Network revenue increased 6.3% to USD 635.6 million, compared to USD 597.9 million for the same period in 2016. 

Travel Network global bookings increased 2.4% in the quarter, driven by 11.1% growth in EMEA and 2.2% growth in North America, while bookings declined 1.1% in Asia-Pacific and 3.9% in Latin America.

Second quarter Travel Network operating income decreased 4.0% to USD 208.6 million from USD 217.3 million in the prior-year period.

Second quarter Travel Network Adjusted EBITDA decreased 2.3% to USD 245.9 million from USD 251.6 million in the prior-year period.
