Chinese tourists made 2.165 million overseas trips to the US as first stop of their journeys in January to August, 2016, up 15.5% YoY, while the American tourist arrivals to China rose 7.5% to 1.66 million in the first three quarters of the year, according to data from China National Tourism Administration (CNTA).
China has become the US travelers’ top destination in Asia Pacific while America is China’s third largest inbound source market.
