Airbnb has not hit with Brits but growing impact on industry

The World Travel Market Industry report reveals that less than one in five Brits, who have not used the service, are considering it for the future and, three-in-10 say they have no intention of trying it.

The British haven’t quite got the Airbnb bug yet according to research released today.

A study on usage shows only 12% of travellers say they have used the peer-to-peer accommodation platform.

The World Travel Market Industry report reveals that while Airbnb has attracted huge investment and is estimated to be worth some $30 billion, it isn’t really on the radar for Brits.

The study shows that less than one in five, who have not used the service, are considering it for the future and, three-in-10 say they have no intention of trying it.
