British Airways eyes China's domestic airline market
British Airways is gearing up for access to China's airline market as it launches a new partnership with China Eastern Airlines.
Codeshare agreement with the Shanghai-based carrier enable customers in the UK to fly to five regional Chinese destinations including Kunming, Nanjing, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Chongqing.
In return, China Eastern’s passengers will be able to connect from Heathrow to several UK destinations, including Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds-Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.
Both airlines’ frequent flyers will be able to earn miles on all the codeshare flights.
