GuestLogix, the Toronto-based seller of merchandising technology for airlines and rail operators, says that its onboard technology division has been acquired by a Canadian investment group.

GuestLogix, the Toronto-based seller of merchandising technology for airlines and rail operators, says that its onboard technology division has been acquired by a Canadian investment group made up of Stornoway Portfolio Management, Bridgecorp Canada, Logan Peak Capital, and Klass Capital.

The move is the result of GuestLogix’s bankruptcy.

In April, its OpenJaw Technologies division was acquired by China’s state-owned Travelsky Technology.

GuestLogix says one of its solutions, OnTouch Destination Merchandising, provides destination-content and ancillary sales via point of sale devices in more than 450 cities worldwide.
