Airline adds six more flights to Beijing and five to Hanoi

Hong Kong Airlines will launch extra flights to two Asian capital cities next month, following the recent addition of a new aircraft to its fleet.

Having taken delivery of its 30th aircraft, an Airbus A320, last week, the Hong Kong-based carrier has now unveiled plans to launch six more weekly flights to Beijing and five extra flights to Hanoi.

“Recent years have witnessed the growing demand of both business and travel between Hong Kong and Hanoi. And there has been an upsurge in demand for flight service between Hong Kong and Beijing over the years,” said Li Dianchun, Hong Kong Airlines’ chief commercial officer.

Following the addition of its 30th aircraft, the average age of Hong Kong Airlines’ fleet stands at just 3.5 years, making it one of the youngest in the world.
